I hadn't planned on this conversation to go this way, but it did. I really enjoy a well-reasoned debate. This was not it. I am proud to be everything the right wing hates. Warning, huge image containing Republican ramblings and attempts at conservative "logic" after the jump.

Most Republicans AND Democrats treat politics like it is a big football game. That behavior is cross-party. I also noted, within days of the election, an interesting reversal of position. Whereas Democrats were bitching about President Bush and Republicans were saying "Iffn you don't like it, get out!" before the election, Republicans were bitching about President Obama and Democrats were saying "iffn you don't like it, get out" after the election.
In other words, both parties are worthless and full of shit. Both Bush and Obama are dirtbag liars of the same caliber. For the majority, the entire thing is a Red Team vs. Blue Team game, with the lives destroyed and freedoms lost in the shuffle simple collateral damage.
Go team.

As an unaffiliated liberal, I agree that both Democrats and Republicans are playing games and it needs to end. But mostly I'm just tired of people using their religion as a reason to hate other people.
I find that everyone I've ever met who says they know what god wants finds it to be the exact same thing they want.

Great post. Nothing brings people together like politics and religion. Usually to get close enough to kill each other.

"I find that everyone I've ever met who says they know what god wants finds it to be the exact same thing they want."
That's quotable.
