October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and each year itypedformilesdotnet goes Pink for October. Going pink is a small gesture to recognize the struggle that survivors and current sufferers face when battling this disease.
Take the time to educate yourself about this disease, and if you have a website of your own, I encourage you to go Pink for October to spread the word and promote breast cancer research.
My very first blog was this horrendous looking thing on GeoCities back in 1998. Back then it wasn't a 'blog', it was an 'e/n site' - 'everything/nothing', a term I still favor over blog. And this site was hideous, just plain awful looking. But then again, the internet was ugly back then for everyone.
